Going back to Ban Na in Laos!
Two and a half years ago, our first volunteers left for Laos to help at an amazing Eco project in the Phou Khao Khouai mountains, some two hours from Vientiane. Their aim was to reconcile the people and the wild elephants who prey on the sugar cane grown by the local population. Astrid and Karin from the Netherlands successfully managed mission impossible, to make a website for this project: http://www.trekkingcentrallaos.com. They also taught English to village people with Paul from the UK, who who was quick to learn the language and is still in Laos!
