Illegal trade in wildlife in Thailand and Laos threatens many animal species with extinction. Responsible Eco tourism and wildlife protection can go hand in hand if local people can gain more from living animals in their natural habitat, rather then when they are caught, killed and sold.

Did you know that the international illegal trade in wildlife totals billions of dollars a year? This is third only to the illegal weapons and drugs trades! Illegal wildliife trade is a major problem in Thailand and Laos, and something which we are trying to combat through educating the local people on the importance of protecting their environment, as well as generating an income for the villages.
