Thailand's Hidden Treasures: Kuiburi and Phu Wua. PDF Print E-mail

Kuiburi National Park in the south east of Thailand, bordering Burma, and Phu Wua Mountains in Isan by the Mekong River, are two of Thailand's hidden treasures: indeed, off the so-called beaten track.

 

These projects are where OpenmindProjects is currently concentrating some of its efforts: promoting community-based Eco toursim, helping the local people and protecting the wildlife. Both places have wild elephant populations and offer amazing trekking opportunities with local guides. Over the last few months, we have been lucky to have many dedicated volunteers helping there. Teresa from Spain and the Voyager Pour Temoigner team from France came to make movies about these places. You can watch them here...
